Mazu Festival
Time: The 23rd day of the third lunar month and nith day of the ninth lunar month
What's on: the former is the birthday of Mazu (Goddess of Sea), and the later is the anniversay of the death of the goddess. During the festival, various kinds of activities are held, such as worshipping Mazu, holding the symposiums on Mazu culture and organizing the exhibitions and sales of arts and crafts. Tourists can also appreciate folk songs and dances and taste delicous Fujian Cuisine.
