Zhaoxing Activities

As one of the biggest Dong community in China, Zhaoxing is rich of ethnic festivals including Dong national festival, San Yue San singing festival, Lusheng festival, bullfight festival as well as Niren festival. Among these festivals, Niren festival is unique in Zhaoxing village.
Niren Festival
Holding on 18th August of Chinese lunar calendar, Niren festival is unique in Zhaoxing Dong village with history of more than 500 years. The festival is including many activities including fighting in mud, bullfight, Lusheng performance. The festival is opening after rice harvest in Dong village, celebrating for the harvest as well as expressing their worship to mud and deep emotion land.
