Only yak can’t sing while wood can’t dance here. Jiarong Tibetan nationality is an ethnic group skilled in singing and dancing. Their songs and dances are of unique features and strong local flovor. Girls and boys sing and dance joyously on festival celebrations with ancient, simple and mysterious religious color imburd in Chaoshan Festival on May 4 in lunar every year. On this day, Chaoshanping on Mt. Siguninag are full of prayer flags and Tibetans from all directions will dress splendid attire with barley wine, beef & mutton and steamed buns on the back to Chaoshanping for pilgrimage of Mt. Siguniang, praying for peace and good harvests.
