Guzang Festival of Miao Minority
The Guzang festival is the most important and spectaular traditional celebration of Miao minority in Guizhou province. The festival is originally formed in Xia Dynasty in four thousand years before, holding in most Miao villages in Guizhou, which is grand celebrated in Leishan county. Guzang festival could be divided to Small Guzang Festival and Big Guzang Festival. The Small Guzang Festival open severy year, while Big Guzang Festival celebrate every twelve years. The main activities in Guzang Festival are killing cow sacrifice, worship ritual, Lusheng dancing and so on.
Tips:The holding time is different in different village. Tourists can contact us for the day if you would like tto join the celebration.
