Kiln God worshiping ceremony
This habitude comes from a folktale. In 1559 AD, the prime minister was building a large dragon urn for the Emperor. They couldn't finish it in the allotted time, then a kiln worker named Bintong couldn’t stand for those who suffer from whipping in the place. He jumped into the fire and the urn was finished of a miracle, after that all the kiln workers were saved and they honor this man as Kiln God. Till now, people hold a memorial ceremony for him to make peace and boom.
