The Lesser Bairam and Corban Festival of Islam are the most important festivals of Xinjiang.
Lesser Bairam
Every September in mohammedian calendar is the ramadan. During this time, the Muslim only allow to eat before sunrise and after sunset. It is forbidden for any food in the daytime. This fast will last after the feast day and will celebrate for 3 days.
Corban Festival
The Corban Festival also known as Muslim Eid al-Adha which is 70 days after Lesser Bairam. Its 10th December of mohammedian calendar. During this festival, the Muslim will take go to the mosque after bath, visit friends and relatives and enjoy the whole lamb feast together.
