Liu Yue Liu Song Festival
Liu Yue Liu Song Festival is an important traditional festival of Bouyei nationality in Guiyang. It held in Huaxi scenery area nearby Guiyang city on every 6th June in lunar calendar. At that day, Bouyei people will gather around Huaxi River, taking cruise, singing and dancing with folk songs for celebration. Lovers will take the opportunity to express their admiration. Thus, it is also a day for valentines.

Si Yue Ba Festival
Si Yue Ba is a original festival for Miao nationality in Guiyang. It is usually opened at fountain pool area of the Guiyang city center. Besides sing and dance in Miao-style, playing Lusheng(a unique Musical instruments of Miao) and flutesa are also major activities for celebration. Nowadays, Si Yue Ba has became a big day for Miao, Baoyue, Dong, Zhuang, Shui, Gelao and Han people around Guiyang area.
